smart, beautiful, and seemingly, a tease. Ah, such is the state of the blog. Still it is fun to read and ponder the possibilities.

Thanks Princess

GingaPaul, the God may offer compassion; the Goddess offers comfort... with an embrace.. okay, with a wink, a nudge and lots of laughter too. ~grin~

In the neverland tales peter pan was a gemini...and wendy was a Virgo, not accurate for the Virgos, methinks, and yes, yes, i,m on the shoe project.

Undulations and waves, a rolling in the land, the soft dip of a valley and the shoulder of a hill, smooth out the rockiness and recline in the soft grass, up here on the heights where we can survey the lazy curve of the river called the snake, swinging upward and awake.

Life feels good.

L.P. said...

mmmmm... i could roll those words around in my mouth for hours, Peter... so tasty with a dash of symbolic spice... full of flavor.
Have I mentioned that I adore snakes? in all incarnations. ~wink~

ozymandiaz said...

AH HA!
So, that's your NEW poet, hugh? Me thinks he reveals himself too soon!
Alright then, sonnets at fifty paces...

(aw fuck, I suck at sonnets, why the hell did I say sonnets, I am so gonna be toast.)

L.P. said...

LOL!!!

First blood only boys. And no bleeding all over the blog.

errr... Master Ozy, do NOT go read Peter's latest comment section. I swear I was just kidding! Honest. Cross my heart... and legs...

I must bow to the superior intellect. I have read his writing. It is, in a word, fanfuckingtastinggoddamnedincreadible. It is intelligent, accessible, and flows with wonderful form. Not a friggin word out of place or unnecessary.
I am too ashamed to ever write again.

~throwing myself at Ozy and wrapping my arms around his knees~

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
you cannot deny me your silver tongue, your wit, your melt-worthy words that dance like no other across my flesh!!

You could never be so cruel Master Ozy!
~lots of wailing and hair pulling and loud anguished sobs~

Paul Squires said...

I was thinking that Ozzy, if Peter is throwing words, duck, he is brilliant, so are you of course, but he is intimidatingly good.

L.P. said...

GingaPaul - i agree that Peter is quite brilliant but (no offense to you Peter, ya know i adore your work) Ozy's writing possess something that Peter's doesn't.
The best way i can describe it is that Ozy's poems vibrate with a fire and passion and spontanious beauty that is quite simply dazzling. Peter's work is gorgeous but guess whose words I carry around in my head during the course of a day and whose words i go back to repeatedly to let them ripple across my senses... yeah - Ozy's.

Of course you and I have compared two different beasts and that is unfair. It would be like setting a Lautrec next to a Jasper Johns and trying to comment on them in the same breath.

Nice uppitys! That has really perked me up on a boring Sunday evening.

mmmmm.... Midnight of the gorgeous kitties. I think this is your first visit here though i've lurked at your place many a time. ~grin~
so glad i could perk your sunday evening up. ~smooch~

Oh no, what is this distress that has happened unbeknownst to me!?

Ozymandiaz I would never dare challenge your supremacy, for I would like us to be friends, and your poetry is superb and, if that is you in the picture, you look like you could kick my ass without breaking a sweat!

Lakota is right, you have power and insight and passion in your words. In the end, I am merely a technician.

Nevertheless, so that Lakota knows she is worth battling for I will contend with you if Lakota would have it so.

It is up to you Lakota. Shall this go on? Sonnets, as Ozy suggested. You shall pick the theme and name the deadline (I write slowly).

Enigma said...

you know prinsess, i could get a bit 'thingy' with you stealing my boys, if i was that way inclined LOL.

L.P. said...

errr - Peter, calling you a mere technician is like calling Rubens a mere fingerpainter.
~eyeroll~

While it might be fun for a moment to see you two toss words at each other, I'm more of a love 'em than fight 'em gal, so can we all just kiss and make up and go back to writing poetry to my ass?
~mmmuaaaahhhh~

Enigma - honest - i no steal anyone. They follow me home and i can't help but feed them. Thet iz all so cute!

L.P. said...

they not thet...
need more coffee.

Enigma said...

Well I supose if your good, and promise to clean up after them, you can keep them?

L.P. said...

I will take ever such good care of them... promise.

ummm... are there any laws about how many i can bring home?
~smooches~

Enigma said...

Well i think a gaggle is about 10, a litter can be as many as 14, and a herd can be thousands.
So just as long as you feed and clean them, there all yours.
Not that they are mine to give, anyway.

L.P. said...

i'm a wildlife naturalist sort, so i'll set out bowls of enticing goodies and let them roam in and out at will. A herd sounds good to me. ~LOL!~

ozymandiaz said...

It's like this Peter, before I had read your writing I thought mayhaps it was you whom sent an anonymous dirty poem to the lovely and talented Lakota. Once, though, I read your writing I could see that the poem in quesiton could by no means be blamed on you. So I offer truce.
But now the mystery remains, from who's pen did said poem originate?
(but if you wish to whip out a sonnet, which I would love to see as I love your writing, I shall endeavor one for that most beautiful ass)

ozymandiaz said...

p.s. don't worry Lakota, i could no sooner stop writing than I could loving. For as long as I have so much as a stub, I shall do both.

L.P. said...

~whew~
disaster averted, Ozy-darlin.
And I'm soooo not saying no to poems written to various parts of my anatomy. Hmmmm.... I've had quite alot of compliments on my lips by guys i've dated... maybe i should do a lip post too... need to take an action shot though... licking a strawberry maybe. ~grin~
